KNIGHT

Bryony Knight (previously Reed) is a contemporary oil painter and oil painting tutor based in North Norfolk. Her work is exhibited nationally and is recognised for its thoughtful observation, atmospheric quality and distinctive use of colour and light.
Bryony’s paintings have been exhibited across the UK and have featured in The Artist magazine, where her work was selected as an Editors’ Choice, as well as House & Garden. Her work has also been used by Apple TV and exhibited at Patching’s Art Festival in the Artists’ category.
In both 2025 and 2026, Bryony was invited to join on the judging panel for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, where she judged the Maire Ragnhild Hollingsworth Prize for Oil Painting.
Alongside her own practice, Bryony is a highly regarded oil painting tutor, teaching and sharing her knowledge and experience with artists at all levels. She has also edited two art books and is currently writing her first book on oil painting, due to be published later this year.
Bryony is available for commissions, exhibitions and studio visits by appointment.
