Just 3 miles from the beach, this venue is perfect for students who want to paint close to the coast. I am very excited to be back at the Reading Rooms this year with two oil painting courses.
A two day beach painting course, where we will go out sketching on the beautiful North Norfolk coast before heading back to the tranquil reading rooms to paint.
As well as my two day Still Life painting course in November, which incudes a festive twist to get us in the mood for Christmas.

Still Life Workshop 2026
21st - 22nd November, 2026
This course promises to be perfect for painters who love the still life painting, or want to learn the best methods for creating striking still life paintings. Over this two day oil painting workshop, students will be taught methods of how to paint traditional still life using oil paints with a festive twist and meet likeminded artists.
The course will include two full days painting tuition, all materials and equipment, refreshments and lunch. A glass of fizz and mince pies will also be on offer to get us in the festive mood.
Day One : 10am - 4.30pm
Day Two : 10am - 4.30pm
£230 per person
